I'm not the biggest Sexton fan in the world for various reasons I won't bother to bore you with here, but I must say I'm impressed with his criticisms of the WSOP.
Almost spot on. Why should many non-Harrahs venues put on world class qualifying events and then forward part of the prize pool to Harrahs? Won't this just further ensure the success of the Harrahs Main Event without them going to any extra trouble?
Wouldn't it be better for players if Harrahs did something outright themselves first to show their commitment to the tournament and demonstrate an even shake for the players?
Thereafter, rolling over funds from qualifiers wouldn't be a problem?
